The Finishing touches!!
for the things i wanted to hang up in my display, i soaked them in tea and burt the edges to give the anchienct and traditional feel to tai chi. i think that really expresses my message, the balance of tai chi is timeless and thats why it has lasted so long! this really expresses the power in the balance and lucidity that comes from Tai Chi!

ive been working with imovie to make a video of tai chi being done on the line from my perspective but also from an outside perspective, been learning a lot about imovie editing!!!

My ideas are everchanging!
i had a plan for a movie on tai chi and ludcidity
-Movie from my perspective of Tai Chi on the line
- intro for movie will be tai chi =balance =l lucidity
control vs. free flowing
unreal vs. grounded and clear
lucid mind vs. lucid instinct
understanding vs. perception
- Map of Tai chi line-à image edit map from online or draw my own
- descriptions of each section + tai chi move + description of the level of lucidity after each section.
- maybe get someone else to do the same moves for each section
and then i got an idea to make an interactive map that way i could have the map and the videos integrated into one! so now my plan is to create an interactive map online with videos of the tai chi on the line, and each section of the line will have a description of lucidity.
Changed My Mind….
I decided that my documentary idea was to broad and i didn’t have a concrete plan to execute within the short time that we have. so i have decided to go back to my Tai Chi idea, but i will have mixed media. i want to create a map of the line and within each section of the line and assign it a level of lucidity and a section of Tai Chi form. I will also make a video from my own perspective of doing these forms on the line. included in the movie will be the actual moves, the teaching of the moves and my reflection on the lucidity and balance it helped me to achieve.
Final Proposal
I want to make a Documentary on the drug LUCID. i will make the majority about its history which originates on the line. it is an ancient drug that is rarely used today, but only by the people who truly know how to use it. i will include historical reenacting, interviews with current users, newspaper articles, artifact examinations, art that has come from the drug, controversy involved, etc.
